This tabby cat portrait features Bori, a remarkable feline who was rescued off the side of the road nearly a decade ago by my best friend. Through the challenges of veterinary school and the journey to becoming a licensed veterinarian, Bori was her loyal, loving companion every step of the way. I created this piece as a graduation and birthday gift—a tribute not only to Bori, but to a friendship that’s lasted since 2012. Today, the original portrait hangs proudly in her new veterinary office, right beside Bori's housemate, Boscoe. This fine art print captures Bori’s bright green eyes, warm spirit, and the deep bond between pets and the people who love them.

I decided to offer prints of these portraits (Bori and Boscoe) because I want to share that kind of love with others—love that stays with you, celebrates you, and reminds you of how much joy our animals bring. My hope is that every time someone sees this artwork in their home, they think of their own present or past companion and smile at the beautiful memories they’ve shared.
