Omar Courtz Pup — Original Puerto Rican Pop Culture Dog Art | 5.5 × 8.5

PUERTO RICAN FLOW — BUT MAKE IT FOUR-LEGGED. 🐶🇵🇷

Meet Omar Courtz Pup, an original colored-pencil dog portrait inspired by the style and aesthetic of Puerto Rican artist Omar Courtz.

For this piece, I took elements of his recognizable look and translated them into something completely different: a seriously cool pup with plenty of attitude.

The fitted cap. The chain. The effortlessly unbothered expression.

He doesn't need to say anything. The look says enough. 😂🔥

MUSIC, STYLE + A VERY COOL DOG.

This piece is part of the playful side of my work—taking inspiration from music, fashion, Puerto Rican culture, and the artists shaping today's sound, then putting my own spin on it.

Instead of creating a traditional portrait of Omar Courtz, I imagined what that energy might look like as a dog.

And somehow...

it works way too well.

The Bull Terrier's distinctive features give the piece even more personality, while the cap and chain transform him into a character all his own.

ORIGINAL COLORED-PENCIL ARTWORK

This piece was created entirely by hand in colored pencil.

From the markings around his face and individual strands of fur to the texture of the chain, hat, nose, and expressive eyes, each detail was individually drawn and layered by hand.

This listing is for the original artwork—not a print or reproduction.
